The Challenge
Richmond Sport Hosting plays a vital role in attracting and supporting sporting events that generate economic impact, community engagement, and tourism opportunities throughout the city. With a wealth of resources, venues, grants, and planning tools available, the challenge was creating a website that could effectively serve multiple audiences, including event organizers, sport governing bodies, venue operators, tourism partners, and local stakeholders.
The existing information needed to be transformed into a user friendly experience that made it easy for organizers to find what they needed quickly, while also showcasing Richmond as a premier sport hosting destination. The site also needed to communicate the breadth of services available through Richmond Sport Hosting while supporting future growth and strategic initiatives.
The Approach
Our team developed a highly visual website experience designed around the needs of sport event organizers. A comprehensive planning section was developed to serve as a one stop resource hub, helping organizers navigate every stage of hosting an event in Richmond.
